Job Summary
The successful candidate will have demonstrated the following:

- Aptitude for and experience in equipment operations
- Ability to work as a team and independently
- Grade 12 Or equivalent
- Valid Drivers Licence required
- Strong attention to detail
- Possess a valid forklift license or ability to obtain one will be necessary for this position.
- Preference will be given to current heavy equipment operators with applicable skills.
- Strong aptitude for and experience in heavy equipment operations.
- Strong interpersonal listening and communication skills (verbal & written).
- Ability to prioritize and learn quickly.
- Willingness to wear all required personal protective equipment
- Willingness to work a rotating shift
- Able to work in extreme temperatures in dusty and noisy conditions while wearing safety equipment
- Able to complete mobile equipment training
- Able to lift 2-20 pounds regularly and climb steps and ladders
- Must have basic computer skills
- Must be able to work independently
- Ability to work within a team setting
- Eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship
- Flexibility to meet the changing needs within the business
- Industrial or Manufacturing experience is a plus
- Experience in a self-directed team environment is a plus
- Lockouts as required for this area
- Shift schedule is 10 hours per shift Tuesday-Friday Day Shift and Monday to Thursday Afternoon Shift.
Offers of employment will be conditional upon satisfactory completion of substance testing background check and agreement with general terms of work.

We currently have a full-time opportunity with our Lumber Yard Team. The position will be supporting Sawmill weekend production hours. Currently 12-hour night shifts Friday Saturday and Sunday. You will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift to move stacked lumber from the sawmill to storage or the kilns. This position will report to the Lumber Yard Team Lead.
