Job Summary

We are looking for a friendly & helpful Bank Logistics Operativeto provide an efficient clearance and furniture collection service across the greater Bristol and surrounding areas.

You will be working as part of theRetail Logistics Teamout at our warehouse in Avonmouth and supporting our shops across Bristol and surrounding areas.

Please note - this is a physically demanding role; you willneed to be able to unload volumes of items on a daily basis.

The warehouse (Victoria Road Avonmouth BS11 9DB) is near the park and ride and we also have free parking onsite your day will start and finish from this point.

No experience is necessary as full training will be given

The details:

  • Working hours - 8.00am 4.00pm
  • Salary: 13.60 per hour
  • Bank position

Duties to include:

  • Carrying out weekly movements throughout shops and wider Hospice.

  • Warehouse/ storage management and movement

  • Supporting our Furniture & House clearance business when needed

  • Logistics support for events and Fundraising (usually one major event per year)

The ideal candidate will:

  • be able to use their own initiative
  • be able to work without constant supervision
  • be able to manage workload and work to deadlines/schedules
  • be able to deal politely with members of the public
  • have a full and current driving licence
  • have good team working skills
  • have knowledge of the local area
