Job Description

The Operations Management Consultant supports various project teams responsible for providing strategic and practical support to both internal teams and external clients. This individual will work collaboratively to plan execute and evaluate client-sponsored conferences and meetings assist with business development activities and proposal writing and consult on a range of operations communication and logistics projects. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional project management skills a keen analytical mind and the ability to thrive in dynamic client-facing environments. This is an on-call remote position with expected to travel occasionally for client meetings conferences site visits or project delivery. Collaborates closely with cross-functional teams including business development communications and logistics specialists.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics and Operations Support:

  • Support for Client-Sponsored Conferences and Meetings
  • Partner with clients and internal teams to implement conferences workshops webinars and meetings that align with client objectives and organizational standards.
  • Coordinate logistics including registration processes scheduling and on-site support.
  • Monitor event progress and resolve issues in real time ensuring seamless delivery and positive participant experiences.
  • Provide operations communication and logistics Consulting as needed.

Business Development and Proposal Assistance:

  • Support the development of compelling proposals presentations and pitch materials tailored to client needs and project requirements.
  • Provide proposal writing assistance including conducting research organizing internal meetings to gather collaborative materials and staff qualifications reviewing proposal content and evaluating the inclusion of past performance.
  • Facilitate proposal review processes ensuring accuracy completeness and alignment with organizational capabilities and client expectations.

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or higher in business administration operations management logistics communications or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in consulting project management operations or a similar role.

Professional Skills

  • Proven track record of supporting conferences events or meetings at a professional level.
  • Experience in business development proposal drafting and client relationship management.
  • Strong analytical organizational and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced client-facing settings.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position including but not limited to relevant work experience skills certifications and competencies that align to the specified role geographic location education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$73722.00 - $125327.00
