Global Field Operations mission is to provide the best end-to-end support for all products and services in non-traditional environments globally. The programs Global Field Operations supports bring native AWS services infrastructure and operating models to virtually any non-data center facility. Customers can now use the same AWS APIs tools and infrastructure across their on-premises and the AWS cloud to deliver a truly consistent hybrid experience. The provided AWS infrastructure is fully managed maintained and supported by AWS directly to deliver access to the latest AWS capabilities for our customers.
This role will be responsible for helping our team scale our supply chain through automation and standardization efforts across hardware readiness functions (inventory production replacements processes etc.). This will be executed primarily through partnership with internal and external leads.
Key job responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Develop and execute scalable processes in support of Global Field Operations key objective
- Partner with technical and non-technical teams to understand characterize and prioritize roadmap
- Create robust standard work documentation to enable predictability and scalability
- Own existing and new supply-chain functions as part of Global Field Operations growth including execution reporting and continuous improvement
A day in the life
An average day in the life of this role involves developing and continually executing on scalable mechanisms against the roll-out roadmap. This includes developing deep understanding of the processes enabling our global supply chain to source and prioritize scalable solutions.

- Bachelors degree in Engineering Business Supply Chain Management or other related disciplines
- 3 years of work experience with supply chain
- 4 years of work experience in program management
- Proven track record of process automation development and deployment
- Previous experience with cloud infrastructure deployment
- Previous experience in a production environment including order creation and data exchange with ODM
- Ability to analyze processes and information identify problems and trends and develop effective solutions and strategies
- Masters degree in Engineering Business Supply Chain Management or other related disciplines

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $71500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $153000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
