What I Will Be Doing:

As a Senior Support Worker in our Penrith Day Program I will:
- Support the day-to-day running of programs and activities focused on Life Skills Work and Study Skills for Life and Recreation.
- Work alongside the Coordinator to help the team succeed stepping up when needed.
- Facilitate group activities such as art drama music and gardening to engage and inspire customers.
- Assist with administration tasks including WHS audits (fire drills site safety inspections) to ensure a safe environment.
- Help plan and review customer programs providing guidance to other support workers and ensuring that the programs meet customer needs.
- Assist with rostering in Niara and help cover duties when the Coordinator is absent.
- Be available from 8 am to 4 pm ensuring consistent support throughout the day.
