About the role

TAFE NSW are seeking an Education Support Officer to work within the Electrical Trades section based at the Wollongong Campus. The role is responsible for providing support to learners studying Electrotechnology courses as advised by a teacher.

In the role you will work closely to supplement the teaching activities by providing follow-up instruction as provided by a teacher and opportunities to practice skills to enhance the educative experience and engagement.

Share your skills and passion for your industry build the skills qualifications and employability and support the career goals of our students.

About You

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • Certificate III in Electrical Trades or above
  • Minimum of three (3) years post-qualification experience in the industry relevant to your qualification.
  • High level interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to be proactive and show initiative and ability to explain ideas in a clear and concise manner.
  • High level computer literacy in the Microsoft Office suite (Excel Word Outlook etc)
  • Ability to meet all the selection criteria as outlined in the position description.
