Our client is a leading designer and manufacturer of power testing instruments and systems serving industries such as aerospace defense automotive medical battery solar and more. They are seeking an Electrical Assembler to perform workstation and assembly line operations building components and assembling them into finished products. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to follow established processes to ensure quality and consistency.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:
- Works on assembly of electronic assemblies per Engineering Design documents.
- Perform any assembly-type functions using hand or power tools such as wire crimping tools etc.
- Operate both stationary and possibly moving objects
- Operate any equipment needed to perform job
- Pass assembled product on the next team member so they can complete their duties
- Report any quality control or safety issues to supervisor/manager
- Work as individual or team environment
- Perform related duties as needed by supervision/manager
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Certification in IPC 610 or IPC 620 a plus.
- Ability to read Engineering Schematics and Wiring Diagrams.
- Working knowledge of wire sizes and characteristics.
- 1-1/2 year Assembly Machine Operator and/or manufacturing experience
- Ability to understand and follow instructions
- Very good attention to detail
- Maintain a clean & safe environment
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- General office skills and dexterity are required. Ability to lift 20 pounds.
- Frequently required to use hand to finger handle or feel objects tools or controls and balance
- Occasionally required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop kneel crouch or crawl; and talk or hear
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
PAY RANGE: $21 - $27/hr
