Role and Responsibilities The Assembly Machine Operator role is a production position responsible for assembling rollers wheels on conveyors rollers in conveyor frames and/or ball transfer conveyors and light assembly conveyor supports. The Assembly Machine Operator may run a roller press or other mechanical press and drill press. The Assembly Machine Operator responsibilities include but may not be limited to - Follow all safety guidelines and report any safety issues
- Follow work instructions and procedures
- Monitor quality as required
- Use data collection terminal to log on/off jobs and record pieces
- Report on issues equipment malfunctions or quality concerns
- Maintains organizes and cleans equipment and the work area.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Education Requirements - Must be 18 years old.
- Detailed approach to daily work activities
- Mechanical ability in using tools and machines
- Strong communication skills
- Able to work in a team-oriented work environment.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Positive attitude willingness to learn
Physical requirements - Walking Standing (Frequently)
- Lifting Carrying (Frequently)
- Temperatures (Frequently)
- Must have enough manual dexterity and stability as required for precision work.
- Must be able to see details as close range.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
