Heres What You Need
H.S. Diploma or equivalent with 2 years of Human Services experience required
Bachelors Degree in related field with 1 year of Human Services experience preferred
2 Years of Human Services or Chemical Dependency treatment experience required
Recovery candidates with at least 2 years of sobriety preferred
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly upon hire required And
CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days Req And
AHAFA - American Heart Association First Aid Certification 90 Days Req
LCDC - Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor upon hire preferred
What You Will Do
Assist clients in completing 12-Step work while in treatment offering guidance and support through each phase.
Conducts educational group sessions utilizing material from recovery support groups in the community i.e. Smart Recovery Celebrate Recovery Alcoholics Anonymous Narcotics Anonymous etc
Facilitates meetings events and community service activities for alumni groups. Develops and leads team in building a solid and lasting alumni program.
Provide individual family and group counseling using modalities consistent with ARCTH philosophy.
Coordinate care with interdisciplinary treatment teams physicians and external providers.
Develops and maintains the Alumni Database.
Conducts post-discharge follow-up call for recently discharged clients.
