Job Description
Develop and implement a government engagement strategy for long-term advocacy objectives in the Czech Republic and Hungary.
Identify and leverage external platforms to improve the LEGO Groups reputation and generate measurable impact.
Manage and grow key relationships with governments trade associations industry coalitions and other relevant authorities to influence policies and positions.
Function as the EMEA team delegate in the GPA Factory Working Group; partnering on monitoring exchanging insights and crafting joint mitigation strategies.
Drive internal dialogue on public policy-related matters and strategically engage to sustain operational efficiency and investment conditions for LEGO Group factories in the Czech Republic and Hungary.
The job is situated in Prague and involves handling government and public affairs in Czech Republic and Hungary. You will act as a trusted advisor to key internal partners.
Take on the role of representing the LEGO Group to external policy and political stakeholders ensuring that our growth is supported by regulatory and political environments. Enable the long-term growth and operational stability of our factories and commercial presence in the region.
A proactive leader who can balance policy intelligence strategic advocacy and partner engagement ensuring the LEGO Group operates and succeeds within a stable supportive regulatory environment across Central Europe.
This role requires a combination of strategic influence policy expertise and relationship-building skills.
Shape Policy & Advocacy: Develop and implement engagement strategies in the Czech Republic and Hungary (and other markets as appropriate) in order to influence legislation and further the LEGO Brand reputation.
Build Trusted Relationships: Cultivate strong networks with governments trade associations embassies and industry coalitions positioning the LEGO Group as a credible and constructive partner.
Act as a Trusted Advisor: Provide senior leadership with insights on emerging regulatory trends risks and opportunities that could impact factory operations and long-term growth.
Lead with Independence & Expertise: Work as a subject matter expert in government and public affairs anticipating priorities handling negotiations and driving complex cross-functional projects.
Strengthen Reputation & Impact: Use external platforms to advance the LEGO Groups reputation sustainability goals and the investment climate in the region.
