Test Article Coordinator
Location: Madison WI
Schedule: 1st shift (flexibility needed for overtime and on-call once every 4-6 weeks)
Start your career in science and operations! Join a collaborative team supporting research by managing test articles and samples used in studies. This hands-on role is perfect for detail-oriented individuals looking to grow in a regulated lab environment.
What Youll Do:
- Receive log label store and ship test articles and samples
- Track inventory and maintain accurate records
- Hand out and collect materials for lab staff and technicians
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with SOPs and GLP standards
- Respond to internal requests and resolve discrepancies
- Help maintain storage units and may assist with alarm response (on-call)
Key Skills:
- Attention to Detail Accurate logging labeling and inventory tracking
- Organization Efficient handling of materials and sample workflows
- Communication Clear interaction with internal teams and documentation
- Time Management Prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Basic Computer Skills Inventory systems data entry and email
- Customer Service Responding to internal requests professionally
- Adaptability Comfortable working in cold storage and with hazardous materials
- Team Collaboration Working closely with lab staff and study coordinators
- Compliance Awareness Following SOPs and GLP guidelines
Education/Experience:
- Associates degree (experience may be substituted for level of education)
- Experience with internal/external customer service
- Ability to use a variety of computer applications and proficient at the department specific software used
- Excellent documentation skills
