We are seeking Aircraft Maintenance Engineers for one of our clients. As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer you will inspect maintain repair and test aircraft systems including removing and replacing line replaceable units (LRUs) and components. You may perform specialty work in maintenance shops conduct flight line servicing maintain tools and equipment order spare parts and materials debrief the Team Lead as required carry out workplace inspections and cleanups and occasionally fill the position of Desk Controller.
Key Responsibilities
Aircraft Maintenance & Repair
Perform inspections maintenance repairs and functional testing of aircraft systems.
Ensure compliance with airworthiness standards to maintain safe and reliable operations.
Component Servicing & Replacement
Remove and replace line-replaceable units and aircraft components.
Interpret technical publications diagrams and schematics to support precise execution.
Specialized Shop & Flight Line Operations
Conduct maintenance and servicing in specialized shops and on the flight line.
Perform calibrations tool/equipment maintenance and oversee spare part requisition.
Collaboration & Documentation
Debrief with Team Leads provide technical feedback and complete required documentation.
Carry out workplace inspections ensuring a safe and orderly environment.
Leadership & Support Duties
Serve as Desk Controller when assigned supporting operational coordination.
Contribute to team performance workplace safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
To succeed in this role candidates should demonstrate the following:
Education & Experience
Possession of an Aircraft Maintenance Engineering License: M2 or M1/M2 combined.
Eligibility to obtain a Reliability Security Clearance from the Government of Canada.
Canadian work eligibility (Canadian Citizen Permanent Resident or valid Work Permit).
Experience in life cycle support activities is considered an asset.
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of aerospace design maintenance practices and relevant tooling.
Ability to interpret technical manuals diagrams and schematics.
Proficient in diagnostics and troubleshooting of aircraft systems.
Key Competencies
Team-oriented with excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
Detail-oriented safety-focused and proactive in problem-solving.
Willingness to work shifts and travel as required.
Valid drivers license.
