Please note that this is a permanent position and we do not offer freelance/contract arrangement for the role.
Join Group Technology Services (GTS) and become part of the Business Messaging Team a key player in Euroclears secure and resilient financial messaging ecosystem. We manage and evolve the platforms that enable critical SWIFT message flows (ISO15022 and ISO20022) ensuring seamless connectivity for our business and clients. This is your chance to work on highavailability systems contribute to strategic projects and keep the backbone of global financial communication running smoothly.
What youll do
- Install configure and maintain our two main gateway applications:
- BESS (ISO15022)
- LIG (ISO20022)
- Act as 2nd/3rdline support for these applications troubleshoot complex issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Participate in upgrades migrations and integration projects ensuring smooth implementation and minimal disruption.
- Plan and execute patching capacity upgrades and decommissioning activities in line with technology roadmaps.
- Work closely with vendors internal teams and stakeholders to maintain service quality and deliver enhancements.
- Contribute to highavailability and disaster recovery strategies for missioncritical messaging systems.
- Participate in watch duty / oncall rotations outside business hours as part of a shared schedule.
What you bring
- Handson experience with Tandem/HPE NonStop environments (Guardian/OSS Pathway TMF TACL scripting SQL/MP or SQL/MX EMS clustering faulttolerant concepts).
- Familiarity with SWIFT standards (ISO15022 ISO20022) and financial messaging flows.
- Proven experience installing configuring and supporting enterprise applications in a missioncritical environment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with ITIL processes.
- Solid grounding in Linux/Windows OS and core networking concepts (TCP/IP routing DNS).
- Ability to script and automate operational tasks (e.g. Bash PowerShell Python or TACL).
- Clear communicator who can document well and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Willingness to provide outofhours support on a rotational basis.
Nice to have
- Experience with BESS and/or LIG platforms.
- Knowledge of middleware integration and highavailability architectures.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and observability practices.
- Exposure to regulated environments and security best practices.
