The Position

We are looking for a Business Automation Engineer to act as the force multiplier for LIZY. You will sit at the intersection of Business Operations and Technology using the latest no-code and AI tools to turn manual complex processes into automated magic.

You wont just be a ticket-taker you are a builder at heart with a strong business mind. You will follow the product roadmap to deploy robust internal tools while simultaneously acting as the go-to expert for business teams who are building their own smaller automations.

This is a role for a tech-savvy problem solver who loves to hack processes is obsessed with the latest AI trends and gets a kick out of saving the company hundreds of hours of manual work.

What youll be doing:

• Build & deploy: You are the primary builder for complex cross-functional automations. You will use tools like Make n8n Zapier and Python scripting to connect our systems and automate heavy operational workflows.

• Process architecture: Before building you analyze. You work with business teams to deconstruct their pain points challenge their logic and structure data flows that make sense for the business. Youll have the chance to interact with all functions at LIZY having a transversal role with major impact for the organisation.

• Coach & unblock: You are the internal champion for automation. When Sales or Ops colleagues get stuck building their own automations you are the expert they call for help. You review their logic and help them level up.

• Tech watch & innovation: The field of AI and Automation moves fast. You are responsible for staying curious testing new tools and bringing fresh ideas to the Product team to keep our no-code stack cutting-edge.

• Contribute to the roadmap: You work closely with Product to identify opportunities. You dont just build what is asked; you provide feedback on feasibility and suggest smarter ways to achieve the goal.

About you

• You are a builder first. You love getting your hands dirty. You prefer prototyping and shipping a working solution over writing a 10-page strategy document.

• You speak business and tech. You can explain API constraints to a salesperson and you can explain a sales funnel to a developer.

• You have a strong business acumen and are able to empathise with different areas of an organization.

• You are endlessly curious. You are the person who reads about a new AI model release and immediately tries to figure out how to use it to streamline tedious repetitive tasks.

• You know that a bad process automated is just a faster bad process. You care about error handling documentation and maintainability.

Your profile:

• 1-3 years in a role blending Ops and Tech (e.g. Business analyst Tech consultant Operations manager with a coding background).

• Experience building automation flows in Make Zapier n8n (or similar) is essential.

• Functional knowledge of Python (or JavaScript) to manipulate data and connect APIs when no-code isnt enough is a plus.

• You understand how databases relate (SQL concepts) and how to structure data cleanly.

• You have a Process Improvement brain. You look at a manual task and instinctively calculate how to automate it.

• Fluent in English.
