Key Responsibilities

Chemical Analysis:Perform routine and advanced chemical analyses on various samples using standard laboratory techniques and equipment.
Quality Control:Support quality assurance by ensuring the quality of raw materials in-process products and the final ethanol product.
Record Keeping & Reporting:Maintain accurate records of test results prepare detailed reports and ensure data integrity for production and quality teams.
Equipment Maintenance:Calibrate operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment to ensure proper functioning.
Safety & Compliance:Ensure adherence to laboratory safety protocols standard operating procedures and environmental and regulatory standards.
Troubleshooting:Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve production or quality issues using lab findings.
Process Improvement:Assist in continuous improvement initiatives by identifying needs researching new technologies and optimizing processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education:A bachelors or masters degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field.
Experience:Previous laboratory experience ideally within the ethanol or chemical industry.
Technical Skills:Proficiency in laboratory techniques instrument operation (such as chromatography and spectroscopy) and method development.
