Job Description
Location: Onsite Dublin 1
Duration: Full-time long-term contract (initial 12 months with extension potential)
Start Date: ASAP
Daily Rate: Competitive (DOE)Overview:We are recruiting for a Senior Enterprise Architect to lead the design and development of hybrid cloud infrastructure and digital transformation initiatives for a public sector organisation. This is a strategic hands-on role requiring deep technical expertise and stakeholder engagement.Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement hybrid cloud platforms (on-prem & cloud)
- Lead architecture planning for Microsoft 365 Azure Exchange Online
- Provide strategic input on digital transformation and innovation
- Liaise with technology vendors and internal stakeholders
- Advise on enterprise storage backup and virtualisation strategies
- Identify and implement enhancements to IT architecture and services
Required Experience:
- Minimum 10 years in an Enterprise Architect or similar senior IT role
- Proven experience with:
- Microsoft enterprise technologies (Exchange AD Group Policy)
- VMware virtualisation (vSphere ESXi)
- Enterprise storage and backup systems
- Cloud-based architecture and hybrid environments
- Advising on emerging technologies and digital strategy
Desirable:
- Enterprise Architecture or Storage certifications
- ITIL or equivalent service delivery qualification
