Duration: Full-time long-term contract (initial 12 months with extension potential)

Daily Rate: Competitive (DOE)Overview:We are recruiting for a Senior Enterprise Architect to lead the design and development of hybrid cloud infrastructure and digital transformation initiatives for a public sector organisation. This is a strategic hands-on role requiring deep technical expertise and stakeholder engagement.Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement hybrid cloud platforms (on-prem & cloud)
Lead architecture planning for Microsoft 365 Azure Exchange Online
Provide strategic input on digital transformation and innovation
Liaise with technology vendors and internal stakeholders
Advise on enterprise storage backup and virtualisation strategies
Identify and implement enhancements to IT architecture and services

Required Experience:

Minimum 10 years in an Enterprise Architect or similar senior IT role
Proven experience with:
- Microsoft enterprise technologies (Exchange AD Group Policy)
- VMware virtualisation (vSphere ESXi)
- Enterprise storage and backup systems
- Cloud-based architecture and hybrid environments
- Advising on emerging technologies and digital strategy

Desirable:

Enterprise Architecture or Storage certifications
ITIL or equivalent service delivery qualification
