Job Summary

This position is responsible for providing operational and technical coordination of daily Chemistry Operations evolutions. Additionally establishes and maintains programs for the effective monitoring and trending of current chemistry control practices and actively participates in the development of new processes and technologies. Interfaces with other Station departments to ensure efficient coordination of their activities with the Stations Chemistry strategies.

Job Description

Key Accountabilities:
Coordinates and implements scheduled operational evolutions of the Chemistry personnel including log review and coordination with other station work groups.
Provides technical oversight for implementing the Station Primary Chemistry Control Program.
Provides technical oversight for implementing the Station:

  • Secondary Leakage Program.

  • Radiological Effluents Program.

  • Diesel Fuel Oil Control Program.

  • Closed Cooling Loop Chemistry Control Program.

  • Open Cooling Loop Chemistry Control Program.

  • Water Production and Treatment Program.

Monitors the effectiveness of the Station chemistry controls programs and produces various trend reports.

Administers the QA/QC Program for Chemistry.


Education Experience & Skill Requirements:

6 years chemistry experience and 2 - year nuclear power chemistry
