Deputy Nursery Manager Up toHours per Week

A well-established and nurturing nursery is seeking a dedicated Deputy Nursery Manager to join their leadership team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Early Years professional to combine strong childcare expertise with operational and managerial responsibility in a supportive family-feel environment.

Working alongside the Nursery Manager youll ensure the smooth running of the nursery support staff development and maintain the highest standards of care and education across beautifully designed playrooms and an expansive outdoor learning space.

What Were Looking For

  • Qualifications: Level 3 Early Years Educator (or equivalent)
  • Experience: Proven background in an early years and within a leadership role (Room Leader Deputy Nursery Manager)
  • Knowledge: Excellent understanding of child development the EYFS framework safeguarding and compliance
  • Skills: Strong leadership organisation and communication abilities
  • Passion: A commitment to delivering outstanding childcare and inspiring both children and colleagues

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Nursery Manager with day-to-day operations of the nursery
  • Lead mentor and develop staff to ensure high standards of practice
  • Oversee the planning and delivery of engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
  • Ensure the nursery provides a safe nurturing and stimulating environment indoors and outdoors
  • Build strong positive relationships with families staff and external partners
  • Maintain compliance with safeguarding health & safety and regulatory standards
