The General Laborer performs any combination of tasks including but not limited to assembling electronic components sub-assemblies products and/or systems. This position operates various types of equipment throughout the manufacturing process and will validate materials prior to beginning assembly as well as build products per specifications within tolerance while complying with all quality safety work rules and regulations. The General Laborer works in close collaboration with the Electronic Technicians.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Performs the assembly of different types of products and components.
- Displays a keen focus on quality efficiency safety and accuracy ensures that all work assignments meet corporate quality and regulatory requirements.
- Refills general supplies and consumables as needed.
- Keeps high quality level of assembled products.
- Visually inspects products to ensure cleanliness and cleans if needed.
- Utilizes assembly and/or repair equipment and apparatuses to fulfill daily tasks.
- Meets assigned goals and objectives in a timely manner with concise outcomes.
- Performs maintenance and housekeeping according to workflow.
- Maintains individual work area and equipment in a neat orderly manner according to standards. This includes proper disposal of packaging waste proper storage and use of equipment and parts and management of documentation needed to perform duties.
- All other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency required.
- Previous experience in general assembly or production is preferred (general mechanical aptitude)
- General knowledge in using hand tools power tools and measuring devices
- Ability to remain at workstation for prolonged periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Detail oriented
- Excellent dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work independently or within a group environment
- Good interpersonal and communication skills including written with proper grammar.
- Ability to read and understand work instructions
- Results/deadline oriented with effective follow through.
- Available to work overtime and/or shift work when requested.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain quality in a fast-paced work environment.
- Possess a valid Passport or have the ability to obtain and pay for a valid Passport
Health and Safety
- Must comply with all safety and health standards established by Fronius USA LLC and federal state or local requirements.
- Ability to bend and reach with repetitive motion

- Vision 20/20 with or without correction
- Physical demands of the job include standing use of hands to manipulate objects talking hearing looking typing walking twisting and bending
- Employees could be requested to lift carry reach above the shoulder stoop squat kneel and crouch
- Employees could be required to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Employees will perform duties in an office environment and a field setting
- Employees will be occasionally exposed to tripping hazards
- The noise level in the work environment is usually low to medium

Task and Responsibilities
- Performs sub-assemblies and final assemblies as well as kitting of components and/or complete systems.
- Handles finished materials and moves to appropriate storage areas within the warehouse or to the assembly line.
- Recycles material according to guidelines.
- Actively participates in Lean initiatives by identifying and reporting suggestions on areas within the department for improvements.
Requirements
- Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment strongly desired
- Strong attention to detail and quality consciousness
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to properly operate basic equipment (i.e.: compactors pallet jacks etc.)
- Basic knowledge of ERP and Digital Tools systems preferred
General Laborer II
Task and Responsibilities
- Oversees and fills in at different (assembly) stations when needed (i.e.: during breaks)
- Provides guidance training feedback and support.
- Spots flaws in products or problems with equipment and addresses to the appropriate channel.
- Actively participates in Lean initiatives by identifying and conducting suggestions for areas within the department for improvements.
Requirements
- Experience in manufacturing and/or repair environment
- Basic technical foundation
- Knowledge of Six Sigma Lean production and quality methodologies (i.e.: 5S or Kanban)
- Proficient in related ERP and Digital Tools
- Efficient in multi-skilling
- Proactive approach; identifies and solves problems
- Ability to read and understand operational procedures blueprints and test specifications pertaining to a designated work area
- 1-2 years of experience in the General Laborer I role
