Why This Role Matters:
As a Timetabling Adviser youll be the go-to expert for academic and professional staff ensuring our timetables run smoothly and efficiently. Your role is crucial in maintaining the integrity of our scheduling data and providing high-level reports that shape our academic landscape.
What Youll Do:
Craft the Perfect Timetable: Develop and manage the university coursework timetable ensuring everyone is on the same page with key dates data policies and processes.
Be a Problem Solver: Monitor progress and KPIs and proactively engage with partner faculties to nip any timetabling issues in the bud.
Drive Innovation: Contribute to the continuous improvement of our scheduling systems and processes making life easier for students and stakeholders.
Build Strong Relationships: Network with internal and external stakeholders to deliver top-notch scheduling outcomes.
Provide Expert Insights: Offer specialist advice and detailed reports for senior management backed by your knowledge of policies and best practices.
Stay Ahead of the Curve: Conduct research and data analysis to keep us informed about enrolment patterns and space requirements.
Ensure Smooth Operations: Collect accurate data for timetabling and create pathways for optimal clash-free scheduling.
Support Student Success: Run reports to ensure sufficient space allocation and collaborate with faculties to resolve any student allocation issues.
What Were Looking For:
A degree in a relevant field with hands-on experience or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
Proficiency in university systems like Callista Syllabus Plus and Allocate Plus.
Strong planning and organisational skills with a knack for meeting deadlines and driving improvements.
Experience in student administration within a tertiary education environment.
High-level analytical and reporting skills with the ability to tackle complex problems.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the capacity to present complex information in an engaging way.
Advanced computer literacy especially with Microsoft Word and Excel.
