Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic motivated communications professional to join our growing Global Government Affairs team. This role is ideal for someone with 8 to 10 years of experience who has worked in the public policy space either in government on Capitol Hill or in an agency setting in a related capacity. The successful candidate will be a jack of all trades communicator with a high bar for excellence who is ready to support a fast-paced global public affairs person should be a self-starter who can think big own their space and is comfortable juggling multiple projects under tight deadlines. Experience with content creation media relations social media event planning and strategic communications campaigns is ideal. Prior experience in the technology sector is helpful.

What You Will Do

• Helpplanandexecuteeventsbriefingsandstakeholderengagements.
• Maintainmedialistsstakeholderdatabasesandtrackoutreachactivities.
• Assistwithcoordinationofexternalconsultantsagenciesandvendors.
• Providelogisticalandadministrativesupportforthecommunicationsteamtoensureprojectsrunsmoothly.

Basic Qualifications

• 810yearsofexperienceincommunicationspublicrelationspublicaffairsorrelatedfield.
• Strongwritingandeditingskillswiththeabilitytotailormessagestodifferentaudiencesincludingcraftingop-edsblogsandthoughtleadershipcontent.
• Experiencewithmediarelationsandaninterestinworkingwithjournalists.
• Priorexperiencesupportingstrategicmulti-facetedcommunicationscampaignswithmeasurableresults.
• Experiencewitheventplanningandlogistics.
• Abilitytomanagemultipletasksmeetdeadlinesandadaptinafast-movingenvironment.

Pay & Benefits:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. At Coupang your base pay is one part of your total compensation. The base pay for this position ranges from $114000/year in our lowest geographic market to $212000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience.
