Job duties Serve as part of the Neometrics Software Engineering team within a matrixed software development organization supporting products with interconnected cloud components. Develop software. Analyze and review customer software requirements. Write and review detailed software technical specifications. Participate in software architecture definition documentation and review. Create and execute software unit test plans and review the plans of others. Provide estimations to support project planning. Implement required software functionality meeting established requirements and specifications. Create and update software design documentation throughout lifecycle and review designs of others. Serve as a catalyst for continuous improvement of software products and processes proactively providing recommendations on improvements to software products and/or processes to increase development efficiency and improve quality. Adhere to Quality System by staying up-to-date on and following Quality System procedures related to this and oversee the work of junior developers. Prepare architectural designs of new software. Remote Position work from anywhere in and Experience required Bachelors degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering Electronic Engineering or a related technical field and 10 years of experience in software 8 years of experience in object-oriented design and programming SOLID principles service-oriented based architecture design patterns and Windows application development. 8 years of experience in data structures including Arrays Hash Tables Stacks and Queues algorithms and design for performance scalability and availability. 8 years of experience in Embarcadero Delphi (RAD Tool) and Pascal programming with significant experience in older versions namely Delphi 5 & 7. 8 years of experience with database connection drivers between Embarcadero Delphi and relational databases (RDMS) specifically Borland Database Engine (BDE) or dbExpress and FireDAC. 8 years of experience in Visual Studio C# .NET framework 4 and SQL Server Management Studio. 8 years of experience with front end web frameworks technologies ASP Web Forms. 7 years of experience with JavaScript. 7 years of experience in writing optimizing and maintaining complex SQL and PL/SQL scripts designing and implementing PL/SQL features including triggers views stored procedures and functions. 7 years of experience in REST APIs CI/CD and various cloud services including Azure Functions Azure serverless database No-SQL Cosmos DB. 7 years of experience in software development cycle and have applied one of the following Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban) Documentation Practices refactoring and Testing Techniques. 7 years of experience communicating and collaborating with external or internal business groups such as the product owner quality assurance team end user customers and third-party vendors.
