JOB DESCRIPTION
Futurail seeks an experienced Infrastructure / DevOps Engineer to design build and maintain the systems powering our scalable resilient and secure software development lifecycle. Youll enable developers to deliver faster by creating robust build systems containerized environments and high-quality CI/CD pipelines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design implement and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for build test and deployment
- Build and support containerized development & production environments (Docker Kubernetes)
- Maintain and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS) and hybrid environments
- Ensure infrastructure is scalable secure and resilient including networking storage and compute
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve build deployment and release processes
- Drive automation across infrastructure monitoring and operations
- Contribute to observability practices: monitoring logging alerting and incident response.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5 years of experience in infrastructure DevOps or platform engineering roles
- Deep expertise with build systems (Bazel is required)
- Strong background in containerization and orchestration (e.g. Docker Kubernetes)
- Proven experience designing building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated testing workflows
- Hands-on proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g. Terraform Pulumi CloudFormation).
- Strong knowledge of configuration management (e.g. Ansible Puppet SaltStack) for system and application setup.
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments
- Solid understanding of distributed systems system-level architecture and networking fundamentals
- Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g. Bash Python)
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS required; GCP/Azure a plus)
