Rate: $24/hour on w2
Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and versatile Customer Service/Office Support person. This role requires an individual who can multitask and has excellent communication skills. This role will perform a variety of office support tasks and provide exceptional customer service to our customers.
This is a contract to hire. The client will conduct an onsite interview and will do 2 reference checks. References must be included on the resume.
Looking for Local candidates within 25 miles (non-negotiable).
Responsibilities - Answering the phone handling inquiries orders and related questions
- Establish and maintain good rapport with customers by using positive language and anticipating their needs
- Maintain an updated knowledge of our products services and the companys customer service policies
- Handle special office projects as needed
- Work with the sales team administrative team or shipping department to handle customer orders and shipments
- Review customer accounts and transactions while resolving issues
- Respond promptly and professionally to incoming customer inquiries in person by telephone or by email
- Receive incoming orders calculate charges and process payments
- Assist with data entry document preparation and other clerical tasks
- Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
- Document customer interactions compile documents and forward information to the appropriate department
- Collaborate with team members to support business operations
- Shipping and logistics support; schedule shipments prepare necessary shipping documentation communicate with the warehouse and production teams regarding orders track shipments and delivery dates handle shipping inquiries and resolve issues
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management
Requirements - 5 years of previous customer service experience. Looking for a mature candidate who can work independently.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications are a plus
- Friendly and welcoming manner with customers and members of the team
- Familiarity with customer-relationship management (CRM) software programs a plus
