Job Title: Tech 3 Microbiology Development

Location: Franklin Lakes NJ 7417

Duration: 12 months

Shift Time: Standard

Job Summary:

Youll work in a BSL-2 lab to perform microbiological testing on pharmaceutical products raw materials and medical devices under GLP (Good Laboratory Practices).

Key Responsibilities:

Perform USP ASTM ISO CLSI microbiological tests (e.g. time-kill sterility bioburden microbial limits)
Handle microbial cultures and record data (CFU counts)
Maintain lab equipment and help with validations
Follow SOPs GLP and GDP for documentation
May lead or coordinate test requests

Required Skills:

Experience in BSL-2 lab (academic or industrial)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and in a team

Preferred Skills:

Experience in GXP labs
Familiar with LIMS software
Knowledge of handling OOS/OOT investigations

Physical Requirements:

Work at lab bench or biosafety cabinet for long periods
Lift up to 25 lbs
Wear full PPE in a BSL-2 lab environment

Education & Experience:

Bachelors in Microbiology Biological Sciences or Chemistry
1 year of lab experience in microbiology (R&D or QC) ideally in pharma medical devices or similar industries
