BAKERY STOCK CONTROLLER (MANUFACTURING)

Salary on Offer:R10 000 R15 000 medical aid

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Matric or equivalent
• Related Qualification in Supply Chain Logistics or any field ADVANTAGEOUS
• Previous experience in stock control inventory or warehouse management within a food production or manufacturing environment
• Minimum of 2 years experience with ovens mixers baking tools and exposure to artisan bread making
• Industry experience and exposure within the food preparation baking industry
• Must have excellent communication skills in English
• Physically fit as the role demands individual to move stock lift stock and physical activity to perform full role of the function including standing for long periods
• Able to work in an ambient chilled warehouse environments
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP)
• Duties include:Monitor & maintain stock levels of raw materials & packaging materials receive & inspect deliveries record stock movements conduct stock counts & recons work closely with production & procurement teams identify and report stock discrepancies damages & expiry risks proper storage & labelling of stock items FIFO inventory methods to reduce wastage stockroom & storage area cleanliness submit inventory reports stock related audits & compliance checks stock transfers sales invoices
• COMPUTER PROFICIENCY:MS Office programmes & MS Excel
• Available to work shifts Working hours:06h00 am to 16h00 pm
• Successful incumbents must be hardworking reliable and able to work under pressure
• Own reliable vehicle & valid Drivers Licence (no endorsements)
