Join Lehigh Universitys dynamic Center for Career & Professional Development as our innovative Assistant Director Pre-Professional Programs. This position is a Grade: 9 - 40 with an approximate salary range of $55200 - $67180 and is subject to change based on experience skills and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert career coaching and academic advising to students pursuing health professions and law school
Manage comprehensive pre-professional programs from conception to execution
Guide students through complex admissions standards and requirements
Build strategic relationships with internal departments and external professional schools
Foster an inclusive welcoming environment where all students can thrive
Develop and implement innovative programming to support student success
Collaborate with faculty and staff to enhance pre-professional pathways
Qualifications:
Masters Degree in Counseling or the equivalent combination of education and experience
Five to eight years of related work experience
Knowledge of health professions and/or law school admissions processes
Strong relationship-building and communication skills
Commitment to diversity equity and inclusion
Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
