As a Privacy Specialist youll be supporting the delivery of the privacy programme across Super Groups global business by supporting the Privacy Operations Team Lead and the Group Privacy Operations & Projects Manager in managing data subject rights requests in line with applicable data protection legislation. This will help us excel to stay ahead of the game.
What youll be doing
As part of your role your responsibilities will include:
Being a specialist in triaging customer data protection data subject rights requests and data protection complaints
Providing first line response and support for customer data protection queries and complaints
Co-ordination of supporting teams in the provision of requested personal data in support of data subject requests.
Co-ordination of supporting teams in the management of escalations process improvements and the optimisation of the service.
Day to day management and output of the data subject access request process requests for erasure and all other data subject rights requests within the regulatory timeframe(s).
Maintaining the appropriate logs and software supporting requests for all data subject requests including the right of deletion and the right of access.
Appropriately escalating any issues or queries via the appropriate channels to Senior Management.
Undertaking general administrative tasks including dealing with customers requests for deletion.
Supporting the Privacy Operations Team Lead to document processes procedures templates reporting and training material regarding data subject rights requests
Supporting the Privacy Specialist Team Lead and the Group Privacy Operations Manager with any projects or initiatives.

Essential skills youll bring to the table
The necessary skills that we require for this role include:
Bachelors degree in Law
Minimum 2 years experience in Data Privacy Compliance or Risk Managment
Experience with Privacy management platforms
Familiarity with global privacy laws (GDPR POPIA etc.)
