Job Description
Are you a skilled full-time Auto Repair Mechanic looking to advance your career in a supportive and professional environment At Connie & Dicks Auto Service Center Inc. located in Claremont CA we offer a competitive salary ranging from $50000 to $100000 annually (hourly base commission). We offer medical dental and vacation time. Additionally we offer this position a cell phone allowance access to modern diagnostic tools and equipment and the opportunity to learn and advance your skills and tradecraft.
As a full-time Auto Repair Mechanic you will work a standard schedule from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. This allows you to maintain a healthy work-life balance with your weekends free.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY AS OUR AUTO REPAIR MECHANIC
As an Auto Repair Mechanic your day will begin by reviewing the days digital work orders and setting up your workstation with the necessary tools. You will perform a range of services including automotive maintenance vehicle inspection troubleshooting diagnostics wheel and suspension service and A/C maintenance. Throughout the day you will diagnose and repair a variety of vehicles including hybrid and electric models like Teslas depending on your certification levels. Using modern diagnostic tools and equipment you will efficiently address automotive issues ensuring a high standard of service for each customer. You will also maintain a clean and organized work area keeping up to date with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
Heres what we need from you:
- 5 years of professional industry service experience with European vehicles
- Graduation from an automotive trade program
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Desire to grow and expand your automotive service and repair trade craft
- Ability to leverage technology and use advanced diagnostic tools
