NOW HIRING: Grant Coordinator II for Ohio Partners for Cancer Control Coalition
(Grant Funded Position)
The Ohio Partners for Cancer Control (OPCC) Grant Coordinator will implement the Comprehensive Cancer Control Plan in coordination (CCCP) with the Ohio Department of Health Comprehensive Control Program and the Ohio Partners for Cancer Control (OPCC) coalition. Duties include:
- Plan and convene general membership meetings executive committee meetings and monthly core team meetings for the OPCC coalition. Lead manage and facilitate a seamless interworking of the OPCC organization to achieve the shared goal of advancing implementation of the cancer plan objectives and the CCCP workplan.
- With direction from the Director of Communications & Public Affairs this position coordinates Franklin County Public Healths efforts to implement the specific assigned grant. Leads and evaluates all grant activities through each stage of an assigned grant program.
- Oversee grant proposals applications and paperwork. Research initiatives prepare grant applications and aid in drafting budgets. Understand the need of the division or section assigned and prepare the proposals in compliance with grant requirements as determined by the federal or local government.
- Develop grant related programs guidelines and procedures to ensure program compliance following established best practices. Write reports attend meetings make presentations and respond to questions from the grantor partner agencies public organizations and the public.
- Maintains project tracking and reporting systems to ensure all grant deliverables are completed and submitted on time. Provides staff support and completes minutes for the grant and partner meetings.
- Represents FCPH at community events for program promotion. This position interacts with the public in person by phone and by email. Utilizes appropriate methods for interacting effectively and professionally with persons of all ages and from diverse cultural socioeconomic educational racial and ethnic backgrounds sexual orientations lifestyles and physical abilities.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Public Health Public Administration or related field
- 4 years experience in grant writing and grant management
- Self-motivated professional with high follow-up and responsiveness; demonstrated organizational and time management skills
- Ohio Drivers License
- Masters degree preferred
Hiring Wage Range: $28.38/hour - $33.35/hour. This is a non-exempt position.
