Big Rapids Family Birthing Center offers unique family-centered maternity care. We have 11 patient rooms that are private and cozy offering a homelike setting. We are committed to providing professional excellence and the best possible experience. We are equipped to stabilize and care for babies who need specialized care. Our advanced technology and specially trained staff are qualified to care for many infant with special needs.

Scope of work
Acts as a team member in the delivery of quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Provider. Performs basic skills per department guidelines and communicates observations to members of the health care team. Collects and reports physiological psychological sociocultural and spiritual needs of patients and families in coordination with and as delineated by the RN or Provider. Ensures that required documentation is performed in an accurate and timely manner.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days
Successful completion of a competency-based orientation program
