This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic in-house litigation team responsible for managing Cigna and Evernorths healthcare commercial corporate investigations and affirmative litigation portfolio. This is a next-level development step for an experienced litigator to apply their skills to support The Cigna Groups affirmative (plaintiff-side) litigation practice.
This Associate Senior Counsel position is an individual contributor role that reports to a managing attorney based in Bloomfield Connecticut.
This role is an excellent fit for a strategic thinker who would assist business teams in resolving business-to-business disputes and proactively protecting company rights through opportunities in litigation. This role is best for a self-starter who will help to build Cignas recovery practice build buy-in with internal and external stakeholders and own cases start to finish. Experience litigating federal and state healthcare and/or pharmacy benefits law is preferred though not required.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus and long term incentive plan.
