Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)- Travel Position
Location: Great Bend KS
Job Type: Travel Contract
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 3x12s Nights
Pay: $2485/week
Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Labor and Delivery RN to provide exceptional care to mothers and newborns throughout the childbirth process. The RN will play a vital role in monitoring maternal and fetal well-being supporting patients through labor and delivery and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure safe and positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct care to patients during labor delivery and immediate postpartum recovery.
Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs progress and responses to interventions.
Administer medications and treatments including epidurals inductions and IV therapy as ordered.
Assist physicians and midwives with deliveries and obstetric procedures.
Educate and support patients and families on childbirth recovery and newborn care.
Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
Associates or Bachelors Degree in Nursing
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in KS
Current BLS and ACLS certification NRP certification
Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
