Job Summary

SCOPE OF WORK: To develop direct and implement a comprehensive enrollment management strategy focused on recruitment admissions and leading an enrollment operation that is collaborative transparent forward-thinking and data informed. This position reports to the President of Lakes Region Community College. Maintains and analyzes enrollment data to assess the success of recruitment strategies aimed at increasing enrollment and improving yield; utilizes enrollment data to develop and modify operating processes at all stages of the enrollment funnel.

Develops and implements an annual recruitment plan aligned with the colleges strategic plan and available enrollment data.

Creates and manages a holistic and effective communication campaign for inquiries prospective students new accepts and current students.

Maintains and analyzes enrollment data to assess the success of recruitment strategies aimed at increasing enrollment and improving yield; utilizes enrollment data to develop and modify operating processes at all stages of the enrollment funnel and keep campus leadership current with the health of the enrollment cycle.

Actively participate in a new student onboarding process with special emphasis on the creation of a seamless enrollment experience and student success.

Collaborates with the Marketing Coordinator to plan strategic marketing campaigns and create promotional materials with a focus on increasing enrollment.

Supports and staffs a welcome center providing support to the public via phone email and walk in traffic.

Supervises the Enrollment Services staff and administers personnel matters such as communicating job expectations monitoring and appraising job performance and overseeing time and attendance.

Develops and oversees the departments budget.

Assists in the development of enrollment projections for the College.

Identifies enrollment trends in collaboration with Academic departments.

Works collaboratively with other offices integral to enrollment management including Academic and Student Affairs Bursar Financial Aid and the Registrar.

Remains current on enrollment trends and practices and issues facing community colleges and participates in professional development opportunities as appropriate.

Complies with all system college state and federal rules and regulations.

Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Masters degree from a recognized college or university with major study in education education administration business administration counseling or related field.

Five (5) years of experience in undergraduate admissions and/or enrollment management with supervisory and/or program management experience.

License/Certification: Valid drivers license or access to statewide transportation.

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Evening and weekend work required for participation in college events.

WORK TRAITS: Considerable knowledge of enrollment management principles and techniques. Understanding of marketing and recruitment in a higher education environment. Experience with student information systems/databases preferably with Ellucian Banner Software. Ability to analyze enrollment data and to prepare reports. Effective communication organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to identify resolve and consult on a wide range of enrollment issues while focusing on institutional needs and priorities. Ability to work well in a team environment. Ability to evaluate and analyze program effectiveness and resource utilization. Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in the performance of duties. Project management skills including the ability to define projects prioritize and manage multiple projects measure and evaluate progress and outcomes and meet timelines while producing quality work. Proficient in the use of technology especially Word Excel PowerPoint and other graphic presentation software. Knowledge of achievement prognostic and placement tests and the techniques involved in their use and interpretation. Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques. Ability to maintain rapport with students faculty and staff. Must be willing to maintain appearance appropriate to assigned duties and responsibilities as determined by the colleges appointing authority.
