Job Summary
Were building the go-to-market team for Base44 an AI-powered software development platform recently acquired by Wix. As our first Sales Leader youll be at the forefront of introducing a category-defining product to the market - shaping the sales strategy driving pipeline and closing strategic deals from the ground up.
This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment and is excited by the challenge of bringing innovative AI technology to new clients. Youll play a foundational role in scaling our business building trusted relationships and unlocking growth through a consultative value-driven sales approach. As our first sales hire youll play a key role in shaping our go-to-market approach working closely with our founders and Wix leadership to bring this transformative technology to market.
Lead and grow a high-performing AE team; run a coaching-first operating cadence (daily standups weekly 1:1s and call coaching pipeline/deal reviews QBRs).
Own the full sales cycle as a playercoach - from outbound prospecting to close - while leveling up the team on discovery multithreading and mutual close plans.
Define the foundational sales motion: ICP and segmentation messaging outbound playbooks and territory coverage models.
Drive predictable revenue: maintain 34x pipeline coverage deliver accurate weekly forecasts and create gap-closing action plans.
Partner cross-functionally with Product and Marketing to align GTM close the feedback loop and influence roadmap pricing and positioning.
Qualifications :
8 years of B2B SaaS sales experience preferably in startup or highgrowth environments.
3 years directly managing quota-carrying AEs (26 sellers) with a track record of team attainment and improved win/conversion rates.
Experience selling AI/ML developer platforms data platforms or productled SaaS to technical and executive buyers (VP Eng CTO CPO).
Proven success building or scaling early GTM motions: outbound programs segmentation and territory design.
Proven track record of consistently exceeding quota and closing complex deals
Strong communication and presentation skills with an ability to tailor messaging to different audiences
Self-motivated goal-oriented and comfortable with ambiguity in a high-growth environment

Approximate base compensation is $155000 - $170000. In addition to the base pay this role includes variable compensation earned and company RSUs as part of the compensation package.
Final offer may vary and will be determined by various factors including location the role is expected to be performed shift candidate profile and ideal qualifications.
