Job Summary
Opportunity
PeopleTec is currently seeking a Service Catalog Specialistto support our Huntsville AL location.
PeopleTec is currently seeking an experienced Service Catalog Specialist to lead the creation and implementation of our organizations service catalog. This role will be responsible for identifying and documenting service request fulfillment processes collaborating with stakeholders to define catalog offerings and ensuring alignment with ITIL best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with business units and Service Delivery teams to understand existing services and requests.
- Document request fulfillment workflows for each service ensuring accuracy clarity and repeatability.
- Design build and maintain a comprehensive service catalog that reflects current and future services.
- Standardize request processes including approvals SLAs escalation paths and fulfillment steps.
- Partner with Leadership to align catalog offerings with business needs and strategic objectives.
- Facilitate workshops and interviews with stakeholders to gather requirements and validate documentation.
- Provide guidance on ITIL Service Request Management best practices.
Qualifications
Required Skills/Experience:
- Proven experience in IT Service Management Service Catalog development or Process Design.
- Familiarity with ITIL practices (Foundation certification preferred).
- Strong documentation and process-mapping skills (Cameo Visio Lucidchart or similar tools).
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills to work with stakeholders across technical and business teams.
- Experience with ITSM platforms (ServiceNow Jira Service Management BMC Helix Ivanti or similar) is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and drive initiatives from planning through execution.
- Must be aU.S. Citizen
- An active DoDSecretclearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an activeSecretclearance upon hire and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
Desired Skills:
- Change management and organizational adoption experience.
- Experience defining SLAs and KPIs for request fulfillment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
