Job Description
This role offers hands-on experience and professional development opportunities within a collaborative environment. Engineers gain exposure to diverse tools and cloud services fostering continuous learning and advancement opportunities that can lead to impactful roles.
- At least 5 years hands-on experience as a systems storage or cloud engineer
- Knowledge of Linux (OEL RHEL CentOS) utilities and programs
- Expertise in version control systems (Git SVN) automated build and testing (Jenkins Vagrant)
- Expertise in K8 platform on-premise or Cloud
- Experience with at least one cloud infrastructure (AWS GCP or Azure)
- Understanding storage platforms (NetApp Isilon Object Storage etc.)
- Experience with configuration management (e.g. Puppet Ansible) is mandatory.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade x86-based hardware platforms
- Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (VMWARE KVM containers)
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills are a must.
- Automate workflows with Python Ruby or Go.
- Expert in IPv6 DNS and DHCP
- Expert knowledge in operating systems networking stacks TCP/IP Linux bridges and network interface drivers is highly desired.
- Understanding systems app security and encryption.
- Ability to quickly learn new and existing technologies
