Job Summary

Title: Playwright Automation Engineer(Typescript)

Must Have:

Playwright with TypeScript

Mid: 2 years hands-on automation

Senior: 4 years hands-on automation

Strong UI automation skills (locators waits Page Object Model)

Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript

Strong test design skills

CI/CD experience (Jenkins GitHub Actions)

Experience with test parallelization

Basic API testing knowledge

Experience using web debugging tools

Version control experience (Git)

Code review experience

(For Senior roles) Mentoring and architectural guidance

Good to Have:

Salesforce testing experience (configurable screens LWC components)

Key role and responsibilities

Build and maintain Playwright automation using TypeScript (POM & fixtures).

Automate Salesforce UI flows and relevant API interactions.

Integrate tests into CI/CD (GitHub Actions/Jenkins) and ensure parallel runs.

Troubleshoot failures debug with traces/network tools and report defects.

Mentor junior engineers; participate in code reviews and automation strategy.

Perform code reviews and enforce coding and automation quality standards.

Analyze automation coverage identify gaps and optimize test strategy.

Ensure proper integration of API UI and end-to-end test scenarios.

Drive continuous improvement in test automation efficiency reliability and reporting.

Collaborate with QA Development and Product teams to identify automation opportunities and design robust solutions
