Could you be the full-time OCS (Overhead Contact Systems) Design Engineer in Bucharest were looking for


Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering and project management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. Youll work alongside dynamic and collaborative teammates.

Youll play a pivotal role in supporting the OCS Design Manager in performing design activities (Basic Detailed etc.) for projects or tenders ensuring high-quality deliverables and customer satisfaction. Day-to-day youll work closely with teams across the business (engineering industrial quality and various support functions) manage engineering-related tasks and much more.

Youll specifically take care of producing OCS design documents and representing the project technically to the customer but also contribute to competitive and innovative solutions.

Well look to you for:

  • Producing parts of the OCS Basic Design for the project or tender including general arrangements technical specifications assemblies layout rules calculation rules and feeding and earthing principles
  • Developing parts of the OCS Detailed Construction and As-built Design such as layouts schematics calculation sheets mounting sheets and feeding studies
  • Conducting interface studies with bridges and structures
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction and confidence in the project
  • Guaranteeing the quality of deliverables within the framework of activities
  • Proposing competitive and innovative alternatives

  • A degree from an engineering school in mechanics or material science (preferably related to rolling stock)
  • 2-3 years of experience in ACAD design programs
  • At least one project experience in OCS technology related to a project or tender
  • Strong drafting and written communication skills
  • A motivated autonomous and initiative-driven mindset with good communication skills
  • Good command of the English language
  • Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD software and standard office tools
