Job Summary
Were looking for a passionate Software Engineer to join our Performance Engineering Infrastructure team. This team builds innovative tools and automation frameworks that measure analyze visualize and optimize ONTAP performance our industry-leading storage operating system.
Youll work in a fast-paced agile environment where rapid prototyping experimentation and continuous learning are core to how we operate. If you enjoy exploring emerging technologies and building impactful solutions using modern frameworks wed love to hear from you.
Job Requirements
Develop scalable modular automation frameworks that help assessand optimize ONTAP performance.
Rapidly prototype and iterate on tools using Python and Python based frameworks (e.g. FastAPI Django Gradio & Streamlit)
Build intuitive dashboards and UIs to visualize performance metrics and accelerate decision-making.
Integrate GenAI and related technologies into tools and chatbots that speed-up performance analysis.
Collaborate in a highly agile move-fast environment where experimentation and learning are encouraged.
What Were Looking For
Strong proficiency in Python and experience with Python-based web frameworks.
Familiarity with scripting languages like Perl Shell or Expect is a plus.
Proven experience developing automation frameworks and performance tools for complex software systems.
Hands-on experience with GenAI (MLops AIops) LLMs LangChain MCP and other AI/ML libraries.
Working knowledge on statistics (matplotlib plotly) generative machine learning time-series data modeling and data analysis would be nice to have.
Understanding of data storage systems file systems or ONTAP is a bonus.
Education
5 years of relevant software engineering experience.
Bachelors Masters or PhD in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
