Sales Consultant
About the Role: WD Door is excited to grow our team in the Cedar Rapids market and is set to hire a new Sales Consultant to support both our residential and commercial this role you will be an integral part of our continued growth and success. Youll work directly with residential builders and commercial contractors helping them find the right solutions to meet their project needs become a trusted partner to residential builders and commercial contractors. As a Sales Consultant youll combine your consultative approach with strong relationship-building skills to deliver high-quality garage and overhead door solutions. Your focus: understanding client needs driving growth and ensuring every project succeeds. WD Door is proud to be a 100% employee-owned company (ESOP). What Youll Do
- Drive sales growth by actively identifying new opportunities building relationships with residential builders and commercial contractors and expanding our customer base.
- Build and nurture relationships with new and existing customers.
- Follow up on leads create quotes negotiate pricing and keep projects on track.
- Partner with manufacturers and our operations team to deliver exceptional results.
- Track and report sales activity leads and progress to branch leadership.
- Ensure every client gets the right solution for their project.
Who You Are: Youre a motivated self-starter with strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Experience in construction trades building products or garage doors is a plus-but not required. Youre organized goal-oriented and ready to turn opportunities into measurable results. Training will be provided to help you succeed.
