In this role you will be working on-site in a full-time temp-to-hire capacity supporting the estimation of bids and projects and managing awarded projects through to profitable completion. This position offers a dynamic opportunity to grow within an established company in the construction materials space.

Schedule:

MondayThursday: 7:00 AM 5:00 PM
Friday: 7:00 AM 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain automated databases of project opportunities
Read and analyze construction plans and documents
Estimate materials and prepare bid documents
Assist with project management and follow-through
Coordinate with vendors customers and internal team members

Job Requirements:

2 years of experience in a construction environment
Strong ability to read blueprints architectural and structural plans
Experience with bids BOMs and material takeoffs
Rebar concrete and steel knowledge
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Excel and Word required)
CAD experience is preferred
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Organized with a high attention to detail
Any equivalent combination of education and experience is considered
