StaffJob Description
-Compile organize and synthesize large multi-year datasets from soil health and crop productivity studies across multiple locations.
- Apply advanced statistical and modeling approaches to evaluate treatment effects soilcrop interactions and system-level responses.
-Draft high-quality manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals develop presentations for scientific conferences and contribute to extension and outreach materials.
-Collaborate with faculty technicians and students providing guidance on data management interpretation and integration across disciplines.
-Other duties as required.
Required Education:-Ph.D. in Soil Science Agronomy Crop Science Environmental Science Statistics or a related field (completed by the time of appointment).
-Experience with soil health metrics microbial ecology or metagenomic datasets.
-Experience with outreach or stakeholder engagement in agricultural systems.
Required skills knowledge or abilities:
-Strong scientific writing skills with a record of peer-reviewed publications.
-Excellent organizational interpersonal and communication skills
-Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
-Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
-Familiarity with multi-site or multi-year experimental designs.
-Strong quantitative skills including proficiency with statistical software (e.g. SAS R or any other statistical software).
-Demonstrated ability to manage and analyze large datasets.

Data analysis expertise demonstrated ability to compile manage and analyze complex multi-site datasets using advanced statistical and modeling approaches.
