The Asset Engineer supports the management of civil assets by ensuring accurate asset data timely inspections and effective defect resolution. This role contributes to lifecycle planning tactical works programs and continuous improvement of asset management systems.
The Asset Engineer will report to Strategic Asset Manager and will assist the Network Needs Team in managing the Civil Assets primarily Culverts and Slopes across the Sydney Harbour Zone of Sydney Road Assets Performance Contract (SRAPC). The incumbent will also provide input for the development and validation of maintenance strategies and tactical works program through the collection and assessment of asset condition data through our Asset Management System. The Asset Engineer will develop and maintain procedures to ensure a consistent and sustainable approach to asset information management across ConnectSydney portfolio.

About You:
A degree in engineering (civil electrical mechanical or other relevant technical discipline).
Experience and understanding of asset management in an engineering or infrastructure environment.
Understanding of ISO 55001 Asset Management.
Understanding of asset management processes and data standards.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work within or lead a team.
Results driven with ability to meet deadlines.
