Job Summary
The Audio Algorithms team is seeking a highly skilled and creative engineer interested in advancing audio technologies at Apple. As a member of the team you will work together with other researchers to develop cutting-edge machine learning technologies for audio will research implement and optimize these features on Apples products as we push the state of the art in audio technologies. Youll collaborate with multiple teams across product development Acoustics Audio Software and others to integrate your ideas into products and build future technologies that will impact billions of Apple customers.
- Hands-on experience in generative machine learning
- Hands-on experience developing machine learning pipelines
- Research experience in audio algorithm development using machine learning (released product features patents papers etc.)
- Proficiency in Python and common software engineering practices
- MS/PhD in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
- Experience with multimodal encoding diffusion flow matching distillation
- Familiarity with developing ML for resource-constrained devices
- Familiarity with developing real-time speech and audio processing software
- Familiarity with psycho-acoustics speech and language modeling.
