Job Goal
To provide effective Reading Language Arts and Mathematics instruction to
students resulting in students reading on the appropriate grade level as well as
students performing Math tasks on the appropriate grade level.
Scope of Responsibility/Essential Functions
Required to work under direct supervision of the Title I Interventionist
Provide intervention to students based on individual student learning deficit
and in compliance with federal guidelines under ESEA
Administer a variety of assessments to determine students areas of strength
and deficits and to guide the use of an appropriate intervention
Attend 4.5meetings when appropriate and offer insights
Maintain student records as directed by the Title I Interventionist
Attend all Professional Development and Faculty Meetings when directed to
do so by the principal Federal Programs Director or Director of Schools
Other Responsibilities
Project a positive image of the Cannon County School District at all times
Keep information confidential concerning school business
Act in a professional manner at all times
Successful completion of Criminal Justice fingerprint/background process and
drug screen
Appropriate Attendance Record
Dress neatly and appropriately
Performs other duties as assigned

Ability is required to schedule activities meetings and/or events; gather
collate and/or classify data; and use job-related equipment.
Flexibility is required to work with others in a wide variety of circumstances;
analyze data utilizing defined but different processes; and operate equipment

work with data of varied types and/or purposes; and utilize specific job-
related equipment.

standard office equipment including using pertinent software applications; and
preparing and maintaining accurate records.
Knowledge is required to perform basic math including calculations using
fractions percentages and/or ratios; read technical information compose a
variety of documents and/or facilitate group discussions; and analyze
situations to define issues and draw conclusions. Specific knowledge-based
competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job
include: appropriate codes policies regulations and/or laws; age-appropriate
activities; lesson plan requirements; stages of child development; and
behavioral management strategies.
