Health and Safety Manager

40k to 50k and Van
We are hiring for our client a leading construction business for an experienced Health and Safety Manager to drive a positive safety culture across multiple projects. The Role
- Develop implement and continually improve health & safety management systems.
- Ensure compliance with legislation ISO standards and ISO 45001 requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments site audits and inspections recommending corrective actions.
- Lead incident investigations and implement preventive measures.
- Deliver training toolbox talks and safety briefings to staff and contractors.
- Monitor subcontractor compliance and maintain accurate safety records.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies insurers and external stakeholders reporting to senior management.
The Person
- NEBOSH/IOSH certification (or equivalent) essential.
- Proven track record as a Health and Safety Manager within the construction industry (5 years).
- Experience managing ISO Management systems is essential.
- Excellent leadership communication and influencing skills.
- Strong knowledge of construction safety legislation and best practice.
