Job Description

THE POSITION
Our roster has an opening with your name on it

FanDuel Group is looking to add a Transaction Monitoring Manager to its Anti-Money Laundering & Sanctions Operations Team (AML Operations) with experience in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance and/or related operations. The position will manage a team of Senior Associates and Associates who conduct reviews of transaction monitoring alerts perform enhanced due diligence review sanctions list matches and conduct suspicious activity investigations. Additional responsibilities include identifying improvements to AML Operations processes to promote efficiency and supporting the reporting metrics to senior leadership.

This role will report into the Senior Manager of AML & Sanctions Operations and sits within the FanDuel Group Legal & Compliance function. Successful licensing with state gaming regulators will be required following employment.

In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.

THE GAME PLAN

  • Lead a team of AML Associates and Senior Associates responsible for reviewing and actioning transaction monitoring alerts related to potentially suspicious activity;
  • Monitor and evaluate team performance ensuring adherence to performance goals timelines compliance requirements and internal policies and escalating issues as necessary;
  • Actively support the operation and optimization of the transaction monitoring customer risk rating and name screening tool supporting accurate detection and efficient resolution of alerts;
  • Develop implement and/or enhance risk-based processes for transaction monitoring customer risk rating and name screening;
  • Report on the teams progress key findings and improvement areas to senior leadership.
  • Provide training guidance and mentorship to team members fostering a collaborative high-performing team culture;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including compliance legal risk management and technology to ensure seamless integration of AML efforts within broader company initiatives; and
  • Stay up to date on industry developments regulatory changes and best practices in AML compliance especially relating to transaction monitoring and risk management.

  • 5 years of experience in AML compliance with significant experience using transaction monitoring customer risk rating and name screening tools.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with a proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to produce clear concise reports.
  • In-depth knowledge of AML regulations financial crime compliance and relevant industry best practices.
  • Experience working within the online gambling financial services or fintech industries is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions and prioritize risks effectively.
  • Adaptable to new technologies and work processes
  • An exceptional team player with a desire to be a leader within FanDuel Group.
  • Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) certification preferred.

The applicable salary range for this position is $102000 - $127000 USD which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience location business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical vision and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation including but not limited to cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
