Specialist Engineer (Tender)

WELCOMING YOU TO THE TEAM

You will join the Installation Tender team is based in Oslo Norway. Responsible for developing technical solutions for the installation and protection input to turnkey cable supply tenders including schedule and cost. The work is varied and requires close co-operation with other departments.

HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT

As Specialist Engineer (Tender) you will be responsible for leading the preparation and submission of competitive bids for large and complex EPCI projects. Your role will include:

  • Study client specifications
  • Develop solutions for the installation and protection of cables
  • Participate in risk evaluation
  • Prepare cost calculations
  • Develop schedules for the work
  • Participate in site visits meetings and negotiations

YOUR STARTING POINT

We know that the best candidates dont always match every requirement but here are some key qualifications that will help you thrive in this role:

  • MS in Engineering
  • 10 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with engineering and site work from power cable umbilical or pipeline installation is desirable
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience managing large complex projects and cross-functional teams
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus
  • Excellent communication skills cultural awareness and a collaborative mindset
