About the job
The Business partner plays a key role in providing financial insights and strategic support to the organization. This position is responsible for business partnering at the Copenhagen site while overseeing costing activities on a global scale. The role focuses on creating transparency in production finance and product costs ensuring commercial decisions are based on accurate financial data. Additionally the Business partner drives OPEX control and supports strategic decision-making contributing to overall business performance and financial stability.
Main Responsibilities
Costing role:
- Managing global product costing and optimizing our current costing model
- Preparing and maintaining Bill of Materials (BOMs) and Routings in the ERP system
- Analyzing production variances PPVs and posting journal entries
- Providing financial input for business cases and strategic decision-making
Business partner:
- Being trusted partner to CPH site leadership
- Supporting budgeting forecasting and estimating of production costs
- Monthly reporting and controlling of production performance
- Providing financial insights and commercial support to the business
- Continuous business partnering with production and supply chain to optimize costs and operational performance
- Support external audits
Requirements
- A relevant bachelors degree or higher in finance accounting or management accounting
- Minimum 3 years of experience in product costing and operational finance within a manufacturing company
- Experience with ERP systems and hands-on journal entries
- Advanced Excel skills and preferably experience with BI tools
- Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Commercial mindset with the ability to support business decisions with financial insights
- Ability to collaborate across the organization and communicate financial concepts clearly
- Proficiency in English with strong verbal and written communication skills is essential
Physical Requirements of the role
Position located in our Hungarian site at Budapest with regular business travel to Copenhagen.
